    Could you give me the first ten characters of the laptop serial number (S/N)? Only the first ten.

    Don't worry. The first ten characters only correspond to the laptop part number. I can't do anything else with it.

    Note:

    Never post the complete serial number in a community or a forum website.

    Example:

    NXY1UAA045 --> NX.Y1UAA.045 --> Gateway NE56R52u-10054G50Mnks

    I found the same Intel HD graphic driver for Aspire E1-531 (same motherboard and same processor) on the Acer website:

    VGAIntelVGA Driver10.18.10.3304154.4 MB2013/10/12Download

    Download it and read the file readme.txt. May be the driver is correct (it's not the same server).

  • Would whatever Gateway/acer did to the one for the Gateway NE56R apply for the one you mentioned? Like whatever patches, or customizes, etc? I don't want to install something that could cause my pc to be unuseable.

    click on display adapters

    double click on your VGA
    choose 'Details' tab
    from dropdown menu, select HardwareIDs
    click on the first value and copy/paste it here
